3D visualisation

In 2018, Grace GIS delivered a detailed 3D visualisation of the Shepparton Bypass area for VicRoads, supporting strategic planning and route assessment for one of the region’s major transport infrastructure proposals. Using high-resolution aerial imagery, LiDAR elevation data, and advanced 3D modelling techniques, we created an accurate digital representation of the landscape, road network, built environment, and surrounding terrain.

The visualisation allowed planners and stakeholders to explore proposed bypass alignments in a realistic spatial context, assess potential environmental and visual impacts, and understand how different design options would interact with the existing landscape. This enhanced perspective supported more informed decision-making, improved communication with project partners, and contributed to early planning discussions for a critical regional transport upgrade.
