Building Footprints Mapping

In 2017, Grace GIS developed an updated and spatially accurate building footprint dataset for Hobsons Bay City Council. Using high-resolution imagery, elevation models, and manual validation processes, we created detailed polygon representations of all buildings within the municipality.

This dataset plays a key role in urban planning, asset management, emergency services coordination, and infrastructure assessment. The improved accuracy allows the Council to integrate building data into flood models, development assessments, and strategic planning workflows with greater confidence.
