2017 - Impervious Mapping Using 2014 Aerial Photography

In 2017, Grace GIS completed high-resolution impervious surface mapping for Blacktown City Council using detailed 2014 aerial photography. Through advanced image classification and spatial analysis techniques, we produced an accurate municipal-wide dataset showing rooftops, roads, pavements, and other hard surfaces that influence stormwater behaviour and urban heat dynamics.
Classified using high-resolution aerial imagery and surface segmentation techniques.
